Ray Flynt

Ray Flynt retired in 2013 from a diverse career in criminal justice, education, the arts and human services. His first book, UNFORGIVING SHADOWS, was published in 2005 by Five Star, with subsequent trade paperbacks and ebooks available through Amazon. His books are featured in their Kindle Unlimited program. Ray is a member of Mystery Writers of America, life member of the Florida Writers Association, and recipient of Royal Palm Literary Awards for YARD GOAT (2nd place, Mystery) and COLD OATH (3rd place, Suspense). He contributes blog posts at Fiction University on the business of writing. He has previously served as a judge in the critical/biography category for the Edgar® Awards.​\n\nIn addition to mystery writing, Ray has written and performs a one-man play based on the life of Ben Franklin. A native of Pennsylvania, Ray resides in Broward County, Florida, where he is active with the Florida Chapter of MWA.\n\n
